Hackathon Themes
Hackathon will be conducted on the following themes:
Theme 1: Agri-Tech
Over 840 million people worldwide will be affected by hunger as per UN studies. Astonishingly, over 1.3 billion tonnes of food is wasted annually across the world. In order to overcome these challenges, it is necessary that engineering innovations, software and hardware be applied to the agriculture sector. We call upon engineers to develop innovative solutions that tackle challenges at the farm input, on the farm, the farm output and farm gate. Innovations in storage, transport and value addition of agri produce are also welcome
Theme 2: Health-Tech
Healthcare technology refers to any IT tools or software designed to boost hospital and administrative productivity, give new insights into medicines and treatments, or improve the overall quality of care provided. In Health-tech, use of technologies developed for the purpose of improving any and all aspects of the healthcare system. From telehealth to robotic-assisted surgery, our guide will walk you through what it is and how it's being used.
Theme 3: Ed-Tech
The recent pandemic has an adverse effect on many fields. But it has opened new avevnues for Ed-Tech. Education Technology (Ed-Tech) has provided many innovative ways for teaching and learning process. But with evolving technology, there are adverse effects of technology and it is applicable to education through technology too. Ed-tech theme refers to identify problems faced by educationalist and provide innovative hardware-softwae-based solutions to the problems.
Theme 4: Socio-Tech
In a country of a billion people that come from a variety of walks of life, there is no dearth of social challenges. When technologies are developed that solve social challenges, it directly impacts the lives of millions. In this hackathon we would like to see projects in the socio-tech track that alleviate problems of that section of the society which has no or little access to basic resources required for survival.
